The SVSU College of Education’s External Advisory Board (EAB) meets quarterly and is composed of area superintendents/district administrators along with COE faculty and staff. Members of our EAB help strengthen SVSU’s educator preparation programs by providing key feedback on our curriculum, clinical experiences, and career readiness. Recent meeting topics include: Updates from Clinical Experiences & State Funding Initiatives, Accreditation of SVSU’s Initial Certification & Advanced Programs, Credit for Experience/Prior Learning Experiences of Paraprofessionals, and the Principalship program.

*Advanced: Employer satisfaction surveys were revised during the Fall 2022 semester. Response rates were a barrier to meaningful data analysis. Surveys will be sent again during the Spring 2023 semester.
