MyMichigan Health and SVSU have partnered to create a unique opportunity for you to earn professional certificates, take individual courses or complete a bachelor's or master's degree while working. In addition to MyMichigan Health's tuition reimbursement program, SVSU is offering additional savings by reducing tuition and fees by 30% for qualified MyMichigan Health employees.

How do I apply?

Apply at https://www.svsu.edu/apply to complete an online application to SVSU. Note: Depending upon qualifications for additional financial aid, some eligible MyMichigan Health employees will receive notification of the tuition discount as part of their Financial Aid Award letter.

What are the eligibility requirements?

All MyMichigan Health employees are eligible for the 30% discount on SVSU tuition and fees. To qualify for MyMichigan Hospital Partnership Health Scholarship you must be a part-time or full-time MyMichigan Michigan employee. For more details contact:

When will I receive my tuition reimbursement from MyMichigan Health?

Upon successful completion of the course (with a grade of B or higher), you must complete and submit the MyMichigan Health Tuition Reimbursement Verification Form to MyMichigan Health. This form is available by contacting:

Do I have to complete a FAFSA or complete any financial aid requirements related to my FAFSA?

A FAFSA and its associated requirements are not required. However, completing a FAFSA may make you eligible for other Federal or State aid, so you should consider completing one at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.

Can I take classes online or nearby?

While most of SVSU's courses are taught in person, if there is enough interest it may be possible to provide the selected course within a MyMichigan Health facility or online.
