Covenant HealthCare and SVSU have partnered to create a unique opportunity for you to earn professional certificates, take individual courses or complete a bachelor's or master's degree while working. In addition to Covenant HealthCare's tuition reimbursement program, SVSU is offering additional savings by reducing tuition and fees by 30% for qualified Covenant HealthCare employees.

What courses and programs are eligible for the SVSU tuition discount for Covenant HealthCare employees?

An eligible course or program is one that is beneficial to the organization and relates to the employee’s present position or a position that they could reasonably obtain at Covenant. See CovNet and related policies for more details.

Can the SVSU 30% tuition discount be combined with the Covenant HealthCare tuition reimbursement?

Yes! Employees are encouraged to take advantage of both the SVSU Hospital Partnership Health Scholarship (applied to your total tuition bill up front) and the Covenant tuition reimbursement program (paid out to you after course completion, assuming all eligibility requirements are met). Do I have to complete a FAFSA or complete any financial aid requirements related to my FAFSA?

A FAFSA and its associated requirements are not required. However, completing a FAFSA may make you eligible for other Federal or State aid, so you should consider completing one at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.
