Winter 2021 In-Person Commencement

It is with great excitement that we are able to announce plans for in-person SVSU commencement ceremonies for this semester. The ceremonies will take place Friday, May 7 at Harvey Wickes Memorial Stadium. Graduates will be celebrated during three outdoor ceremonies by academic college.

Graduates will be allowed two guests each, and faculty and staff will be involved in the ceremonies as well. We are excited to host what will be our first in-person ceremony in more than a year; and our first-ever outdoor commencement ceremony.

How to Watch Online

The ceremonies will also be premiered live on the Saginaw Valley State University YouTube page. After the ceremony premieres, the video will remain available to view online.
