Michigan Space Grant Consortium Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Undergraduate student holding a major within the College of Science, Engineering & Technology. Preference is given to projects focused on aerospace, space science, and Earth system science. Students working in other related science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, including educational research topics in STEM, are also eligible to apply.
  • Junior or Senior conducting an independent research project that aligns with one of NASA's strategic goals.

  • Maintain a minimum of a 3.5 GPA
  • Must be registered for at least 9 credits during the Winter 2020 term.
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Willing to provide demographic data and participate in a longitudinal study to meet MSGC grant requirements.

Funds are available for the winter 2020 semester at $500. Students must name a faculty mentor and upload evidence of the faculty member's consent to mentor for this project. One scholarship will be awarded.
