What does an interventionist do?

  • Completes mental health training
  • Identifies struggling students
  • Learns the course material
  • Provides one-to-one support
  • Advocates for the student

Interventionist Nomination Qualifications:

  1. Tenure: Must have served at the school for more than one year.
  2. Student Progress and Outcomes: Demonstrates measurable improvement in student performance through targeted interventions and data-driven strategies.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Works closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
  4. Commitment to Equity and Inclusion: Ensures all students, regardless of background or ability, have access to resources and support for academic success.
