What does a substitute teacher do?

  • Interprets and executes lesson plans quickly and effectively

Full-Time Substitute Teacher Nomination Qualifications

  1. Tenure: While no minimum tenure is required, consistent service throughout the year is preferred.
  2. Instructional Effectiveness: Consistently delivers high-quality instruction that aligns with lesson plans and maintains continuity in student learning.
  3. Classroom Management: Demonstrates strong classroom management skills, ensuring a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
  4. Reliability and Commitment: Shows reliability in accepting assignments, punctuality, and adaptability to work across different classrooms and grade levels.
