Veterans Day

On this day of remembrance, I encourage you to take a moment to express appreciation to all SVSU faculty, staff, students and alumni who have served in our nation’s military. Their service comes at considerable personal sacrifice for which we should all be grateful.

International Food Festival Tomorrow

This annual feast will take place tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Marketplace at Doan. In cooperation with Dining Services staff, our international students have prepared foods in the traditions of their home countries which they offer proudly to us. This is a generous gesture on their part; we appreciate it very much.

50th Anniversary Banquet a Wonderful Affair

Thanks to all those involved in planning the 50th anniversary banquet we celebrated this past Saturday. This truly was a cause for celebration. All of us who attended appreciate the hard work they put into this event. Our institution has a remarkable history, but we should never lose sight of the future our students expect of us. Now on to the 51st! (Just kidding.)
