Admission Requirements

The Nursing Program in the College of Health and Human Services at Saginaw Valley State University is competitive and does NOT have a waitlist. An applicant must have a minimum GPA in the science/statistics nursing prerequisite courses of 3.0 and an overall GPA of 3.0 to apply.  All nursing prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of "C" (2.0) or better except for anatomy and physiology which must be completed with a grade of "B-" (2.7) or better in each.
