International Recruitment Partners

Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) Program 

SVSU is proud to partner with the Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) program. GAC is an internationally recognized university preparation program that prepares students whose first language is not English with the required academic knowledge and English language skills to successfully complete a bachelor’s degree.

Study Abroad Providers

SVSU works with many study abroad providers and deeply values these relationships in helping SVSU students expand their horizons and explore other cultures. Please note that we are not accepting applications for new recruitment partners from Nepal at this time.

Accepted recruitment partners will be granted a standard contract, which offers $2,000 commission per student who enrolls at SVSU on reference of their agency.

Additionally, we commit to helping our recruitment partners be successful in their efforts. We provide an agents’ portal with exclusive access to:

  • Application instructions
  • Ethical guidelines
  • High-resolution photos of SVSU
  • Marketing pieces
  • Important announcements specific to our recruitment partners regarding:

    - Scholarship availability

    - Tips for successful enrollments

We are also willing to assist our agents with the production of marketing pieces specific to SVSU for their own utilization.

 

SVSU is proud to partner with the Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) program. GAC is an internationally recognized university preparation program that prepares students whose first language is not English with the required academic knowledge and English language skills to successfully complete a bachelor’s degree. As a GAC Program Pathway University, SVSU accepts the ACT/GAC Program's 39 transfer credits toward a bachelor’s degree.

GAC graduates are automatically awarded the SV Red & White Award Scholarship valued at up to $12,500 per year, in addition to the $2,000 GAC Pathway Scholarship.

  • GAC minimum overall GPA of 2.0
  • English level minimum requirements:
    • Minimum grade 2.0 (C or 73% - 76%)

    • English Proficiency Test: IELTS 5.5; TOEFL- PBT 500 or IBT 61

Conditional Admission into ELP is available for those that do not meet the language requirements above

Each year SVSU works with study abroad partners to offer students an exceptional international education experience. Our partners help coordinate logistics for students by: providing students on-site orientations, finding housing for students on overseas programs, registering students for courses abroad, providing in-country support and cultural activities and trips, and more.
