Early Childhood Through High School and All That Happens Along the Way


Growing Years daycare.

Early Childhood (Birth-Kindergarten)

Certification for teaching young children from Birth through Kindergarten in both general and special education; often paired with Lower Elementary certification.

Lower Elementary (PreK-3rd grade)

Certification for teaching children from preschool through third grade; often paired with Early Childhood, Upper Elementary, Special Education, ESL or World Languages.

Upper Elementary (3rd - 6th grades)

Certification for teaching children from third grade through sixth grade; often paired with Lower Elementary, Special Education, ESL, World Languages, or a Middle School content area.

Certification for teaching fifth through ninth grade and/or seventh through twelfth grade.

  • English/Language Arts 
  • Integrated Science  
  • Mathematics  
  • Social Studies

Certification that is paired with one of the grade-level certifications listed above.
