Health and Safety

Practice 5

It is up to all of us to support the health and safety of our campus community. Do your part by “Practicing 5:”

  1. Complete your daily health screening using the #CampusClear This is also your first step in reporting COVID-19 symptoms or exposure; you cannot come to campus without completing and passing your #CampusClear screening!
  2. Wear a face covering. Face coverings that cover your nose and mouth are required indoors and outdoors when six feet of distance cannot be maintained.
  3. Practice social distancing. COVID-19 is spread easily from person to person, especially within close contact (six feet or less). Maintain a safe distance of six feet between yourself and anyone you do not live with.
  4. Wash your hands. Hand hygiene is critical to reducing your risk of contracting COVID-19.
  5. Be considerate of others. Safety measures are put in place to protect you and others. So, be mindful of the health and safety of your peers, and do the right thing.

University Policies for COVID-19

Saginaw Valley State University has established a number of policies and guidelines that members of the campus community must follow. These policies and guidelines are in line with directives from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Failure to adhere to these policies could result in disciplinary action.
