Saginaw Valley State University has established a number of policies and guidelines that members of the campus community must follow. These policies and guidelines are in line with directives from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Failure to adhere to these policies could result in disciplinary action.
A team of your peers is ready to assist the campus community in adhering to health and safety guidelines and to provide critical information related to our COVID-19 response. These NEST ambassadors have been trained and specialize in the areas of health and safety, student experience and technology. Make sure to follow them on Facebook (SVSU NEST) and Instagram (@svsunest) for regular health and safety updates and campus events.
Students in need of medical attention may visit Covenant MedExpress located at 2970 Pierce Rd. (Mon.-Sat. 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Sun. 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.).
Students who fail their daily health screening due to symptoms or exposure to COVID-19 may be directed to seek testing at this MedExpress location during limited hours - or at a testing site that is convenient for them - by the Covenant Health Hotline.
Always call 9-1-1 or visit the E.R. in a medical emergency!
