The following applies to all SVSU staff, faculty, adjunct faculty and student employees.
Any employee experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or who have been exposed to a known case of COVID-19, are instructed to call the Covenant Health Hotline (989-583-3568 or 989-583-3135, Press 1) immediately for further guidance. Significant exposure refers to being within 6 ft. of someone with COVID-19 for 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period.
Any employee that has tested positive and has received their test result from any lab other than Covenant MedExpress on Pierce Road or Michigan Health Labs must report the test result (pos. or neg.) to firstname.lastname@example.org — documentation of a positive test result must be attached.
Contact your supervisor(s) to inform them of your quarantine status and to discuss potential arrangements for remote work.
The Office of Human Resources will be notified of your testing and quarantine status through the email@example.com team. Please be prepared to provide testing and quarantine status documentation as needed.
Documentation clearing the employee from quarantine status (provided by the Case Managers or the Covenant Health Hotline) will be required before an employee is allowed to return to campus for work.
