COVID-19 Students in Quarantine - Outdoor Policy

Published: March 23, 2021

When in quarantine due to a COVID-19 exposure, it is important to recognize that you could develop COVID-19 without symptoms and be contagious to others.  To limit potential spread of the virus, it is important to remain at your residence (on or off campus) quarantined, as directed by the CDC.

For mental and physical well-being and realizing outdoor spread of the virus is uncommon, individuals in quarantine may spend some limited time outdoors at their discretion, provided that they wear a mask and physical distancing of at least 6 feet is maintained.
