Gerstacker Learning Commons, student receiving tutoring

Gerstacker Learning Commons

Located on the second floor of Zahnow Library is the Gerstacker Learning Commons: a one-stop location where students can find the Center for Academic Achievement, the Math & Physics Resource Center, and the Writing Center. These three centers are staffed by trained undergraduate and professional tutors who offer individual and small-group tutoring to all SVSU students free of charge..

While most of our tutoring will take place remotely through video conferencing, some Centers may be offering limited appointments for in-person tutoring. To find out more information about the services and hours of operation for each Center, or to make an appointment to work with any of our tutors, use the links below.

For general questions about the Gerstacker Learning Commons, call 989.964.2166 or email us at svsu_library@svsu.edu.
