Sherry Morgan – KCP 4-S P.A.S.S. Progress Coordinator
Sherry has been part of SVSU for many years. She received her Bachelor of Arts in 1996, and her Master’s in Education in 2005. She worked in Admissions for seven years before her current position. She is a wife and mother of two children Sage and Sean. She is Advisor for the Valley Voices choir, and member of the Student Conduct Board. She also is an SVSU Ally for inclusion and Stairway to Success mentor. She is known as “Momma Cardinal” to her students. She has lived in Saginaw for 20 years, and is originally from Millington, Michigan.
Brandon Jones- Student Mentor
Brandon is a Student Peer Mentor for the KCP 4-S P.A.S.S. program. His major is Business Management. He hails from Saginaw, Michigan and attended Saginaw High School upon attending Saginaw Valley State University. Brandon is a fourth year college student. He is not only is a worker for the KCP program, he is a member of the program as well. Brandon is involved in numerous organizations. He is the Campus Events Director for the Student Association, President of Valley Voices Gospel Choir, a College Positive Volunteer/Gear Up, a member of Forever Red and Sigma Alpha Pi- National Society for Leadership and Success, and a Senior Orientation Leader.
Emily Wiltse- Student Mentor
Emily Wiltse is a super senior, going into her 6th year of schooling here at SVSU. When she finally gets finished, she will have a degree in Elementary Education with a Special Education endorsement in Emotional Impairment...she just loves teaching those little ones! She is a part of the Foundation Scholars Program here at SVSU, and studied abroad to Paros Island, Greece in June of 2014! She is also one of the two student peer mentors for the KCP Program, and she loves her job! She couldn't imagine being anywhere else right now.
A little more about Emily: She is originally from the small town of Harbor Beach, located in the Thumb of Michigan. She graduated from Harbor Beach High School. Some things that she loves are summer, fall, baking/cooking, chocolate, fruit, ice-cream, reading, and naps.
