If you are facing a particular kind of change in your life--getting married, having a baby, getting separated, retiring, going on leave, you may be eligible to change your insurance coverage status.
Certain life events allow you to make changes in benefits that otherwise are possible only once a year during an open enrollment period. This list outlines the examples of life events that may qualify for insurance coverage changes:

Be sure to make changes with the Human Resources Office at 989.964.7100 within 30 days of the event. If you do not add a dependent within 30 days of the event, you will not be able to add the dependent until the next open enrollment.
