Placement for Accounting Graduates
Our accounting students find employment in the public and private sectors, in general or tax accounting, financial planning, or internal audit. Our partnerships with local start-ups to Fortune 500 companies give students real-world experience.
Placement for Mechanical Engineering Graduates
Many placements are secured prior to graduation due to a co-op, internship, research assistant position, or senior capstone project. SVSU receives over $100,000 for senior engineering capstone design projects, providing students an opportunity to develop a solution for a client.
Placement for Early Childhood Education Graduates
SVSU teachers have 300 hours of field-work; which is double or triple most schools. With demand increasing for teachers across the state, our teachers are sought after by school districts.
Placement for Nursing Graduates
Our nursing students are prepared: courses include both clinical and simulation experience combined with interprofessional education prepares nurses for the hospital floor to a doctor's office. Our nursing grads are licensed: 93.6% pass rate for the NCLEX exam.

Not only is SVSU highly regarded for the academic rigor of our education degrees, we also offer specialized grants to students who desire to teach. Your passion to help the next generation could equal up to $4,000 of additional aid each year.
