As an SVSU employee, you play an important role in the success of this university and our students. There are dozens of ways you can support students, including through financial contributions to scholarships or programs. Your gift — of any size — makes a difference to our students and demonstrates your belief in and support of our mission. That sends a powerful message to our students, our supporters and the community.
This year, we are asking all faculty and staff to consider supporting the SVSU Fund for general scholarships or another fund of your choice.
The SVSU Fund supports several need- and merit-based scholarships and fellowship programs that provide assistance for students in need, recognition to high-achieving students, and unique learning and leadership opportunities for all students. Gifts to the SVSU Fund are unrestricted, providing immediate, flexible funding where it’s needed most.
Your gift to a specific college or department helps provide educational access to students pursuing degrees in more than 100 courses of study.
There are more than 300 named scholarships, programs and endowments at SVSU. Gifts to these funds increase the amount of support available to students. New named funds can be established with an annual gift of $1,000.
Your gift to the Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum helps continue Fredericks's artistic legacy through the collection, preservation of presentation of his works.
Whether you donate to Athletics or to a specific sport, your support helps strengthen our athletic programs and provide financial assistance to our dedicated student-athletes.
When you make gifts totaling $1,000 or more during the year (July 1-June 30), you become a member of our President’s Circle.
Payroll deduction makes it easy to give. By setting aside a smaller amount from your pay each period, your gift builds throughout the year.
