Friday April 24-Friday May 1, 2020
This year, due to the COVID-19 virus, our SET Science and Engineering Symposium will be held online, joint with the SVSU Student Showcase, starting Friday April 24 at 1:00pm until next Friday May 1. It will be held virtually through a Canvas course named "SVSU Student Showcase." All members of the SVSU community are invited to attend. To attend the symposium, please fill out this very short registration form and then you will get an email inviting you to join the Canvas course. You need to join the course to attend.
The Showcase will start on Friday April 24 at 1:00pm with opening remarks by Provost Dr. Deborah Huntley and a faculty panel discussion with Dr. Tami Sivy and Dr. Merrick Lincoln discussing "Student Success in the COVID-19 era" with SVSU students. Our SET symposium will feature a mixture of poster presentations and videos of narrated PowerPoint presentations, posted on the course's Discussions boards. The presentations will remain online until May 1 so join and enjoy at your convenience, and we appreciate your feedback on the Discussion boards.
Hope to "see" you at the symposium!
If you have any questions, please contact the symposium coordinator Dr. Z. Patrick Pan.
