Message from the Provost

Dear faculty,

This October, Saginaw Valley State University will again undertake a campus-wide survey for faculty, staff and students on “Campus Climate.” The goal of the survey is to gather data related to institutional climate, inclusion, current attitudes, and workplace issues to assess and improve the overall environment for faculty and staff, as well as students.A picture of the Provost

We are asking our faculty and their students to participate in the Campus Climate Survey.  This effort is important to SVSU and our commitment to an inclusive environment.  In order to effectively assess our campus climate, we need high rates of participation.

Once again, I ask you to complete the survey and to encourage your students to do the same.

This survey is an opportunity for faculty, staff and students to describe experiences, observations and offer suggestions to enhance the climate. Rankin and Associates is conducting the Campus Climate Survey, and SVSU’s Institutional Review Board has approved this study. Rankin and Associates and the SVSU team have taken every precaution to ensure anonymity and confidentiality. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Dr. Mamie Thorns or Dr. Ranjana Dutta. The survey can be found at: https://rankinsurveys1.com/svsu.

Thank you in advance for completing the survey.  Your participation will help to ensure that SVSU is both a Great College to Work for and a great place to learn.

Thank you,

Sincerely,
Deborah Huntley
