SVSU Cardinal Commitment FAQs

SVSU Cardinal Commitment

At SVSU, we see your value and we are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. We believe that the cost of tuition should not prevent you from taking the next step in your academic journey and future career. That’s why we developed The SVSU Cardinal Commitment. This financial aid package provides free eligible tuition for first-time college students in Michigan who have a family adjusted gross income of $50,000 or less and meet the eligibility requirements. The SVSU Cardinal Commitment is available to qualifying students for four (4) continuous years or through completion of your first bachelor's degree, whichever is sooner.

We understand that a college education is a significant investment, and we are committed to easing the burden of these expenses so you can pursue your passions and accomplish your career goals. Your income level shouldn't be the barrier that keeps you from the first-class education you deserve. At SVSU, we thrive on accessibility and affordability, and we are here to help you soar.
