The Center for Academic Innovation (CAI) offers many opportunities for the advancement of innovative learning and pedagogical approaches to support faculty, departments, and units on campus. Join us during the academic year for a monthly Teaching Table at which our SVSU colleagues share their expertise and experience over a lunch in the Emeriti Room. In February, CAI hosts an annual Teaching and Learning Symposium that explores a single theme and showcases innovative teaching and scholarship from SVSU faculty. Apply for individual or department grants to support student learning, take one of CAI’s course development classes, or drop by for an individual consultation. We are here to draw the campus community together to share expertise, showcase innovative practices, and explore emerging pedagogical models.
