The Midland Center for the Arts (MCFTA) is a cultural resource for the region that houses art, science, history, music, theater, and dance under one roof. As a part of their commitment to visual arts, the MCFTA houses the Studio School, a non-credit bearing institution open to anyone interested in developing their artistic skill. The School’s faculty consists of professional artists in the Great Lakes Bay Region who are well known for their own artistic accomplishments. This exhibition highlights the work of the faculty from the past year. A wide variety of artistic styles and mediums are featured from painting, drawing, ceramics, jewelry, and photography.
All gallery exhibitions, lectures and receptions are free and open to the public. Click the following link for open gallery hours or call (989) 964-2291. The University Art Gallery is located in the Arbury Fine Arts Center on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University, svsu.edu/go/visit/maps/.
