The mission of the Michigan Water Color Society is to promote a stronger awareness and interest in
watercolor; to maintain high standards; and to further education in the contemporary arts.
Each year the MWCS hosts a juried Annual Exhibition with works from Michigan artists. The
exhibition showcases the beauty, jewel-like color, and versatility of this extremely popular medium,
and painting styles range from finely detailed Photorealism to vivid abstractions..
