Ed Wong-Ligda: Beauty & Vulnerability

September 28 - October 24, 2009
Artist Reception: Thursday, October 24, 4:30 - 6:30 pm

Professor Ed Wong-Ligda resides in Comstock Park, Michigan, and is currently teaching at Grand Valley State University.  His large-scale figurative oil paintings fill the University Art Gallery through the month of October as the Gallery presents the exhibition by Ed Wong-Ligda.  Allegorical in nature and laden with symbolism, the beautifully painted images deal with the stages and events of life and mortality with subjects that are not always beautiful in nature.
