Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
The BBA International Business program teaches students the business, cultural and communication skills needed to successfully manage firms engaged in international trade and commerce. The major combines a rigorous background in international business which includes courses in cross-cultural relations, international accounting, international marketing, international economics, international finance, international management, international business law, and supply chain management in the global context; with a foreign language requirement, and study abroad opportunities. Students learn about business practices and institutions in various countries, to analyze issues unique to international business, and to develop technically and culturally appropriate solutions to them.
Graduates of this program may find positions in domestic or global companies in a variety of industries, including public and private organizations because of their versatile global business knowledge. Common entry-level job titles include international securities analyst, foreign services officer, and international procurement officer.
