Rehabilitation Medicine (BS)

About

The Rehabilitation Medicine program welcomes students with a quality education that accents field research in rehabilitation practices in order to encourage a higher caliber of patient care. SVSU's accomplished faculty also teach evidence-based medicinal practices and help students to learn to identify and understand injuries and illnesses. As students majoring in the Rehabilitation Medicine program grow in their abilities and gain confidence with each experience, they engage in one-on-one connections both in the classroom and in the field. In addition to their rich and varied curriculum, students come to demonstrate the ability to recognize, assess and manage patients with the help of their strong educational foundation in strength and conditioning, therapeutic modalities and musculoskeletal examinations. Graduates from this program don't just live in their communities—they actively serve them.
