The English Major for Teacher Certification brings to life the many ways in which students learn to see the world. At SVSU, students are immersed in literature and creative writing, highlighting different cultures and presenting new methods in which to analyze the world. We cultivate understanding of the history behind the ideas presented in these topic areas, providing foundational knowledge to bring to the classroom. In this program, students have the chance to flourish with faculty support.
