On top of foundational knowledge, students will gain hands-on classroom experience early in their college careers. By the time they graduate, students are well-equipped to handle any challenges they may face.
Understanding the ways in which the world works is a vital piece to education. In SVSU’s Chemistry Major for Teacher Certification, students are immersed in theory and practice, coursework and labs. Combined with the chance to conduct original research, students have many opportunities to learn a variety of chemistry subtopics. Building off of foundational chemistry knowledge and teaching practices, students also receive multiple opportunities for classroom experiences, ensuring they are prepared to teach.
Multiple scholarships are available to students along their journey through the Chemical Physics program, including SVSU Endowed Science Research Scholarship and much more.
