Prepare for the test by using the sample tests (& their answer keys) in the course webpage.

April 20: Test 3 will be held on Monday, April 25, 10:30-12:20, in our usual classroom, P 231. It will consist of two parts: The First part will be your third hourly exam, and will cover sections 9.1, 9.2, 9.6, 9.8, 9.9(light); it will be counted with the same weight as your other hourly exams. The second part will be a cumulative final exam, and will cover chapters 1-4; it will count as 30% or 60% of your grade, whichever is higher. The second part will focus on difficult topics such as simplifying complex expressions, compound fractions, applied max/min problems, plotting rational functions, variation with changing variables, among others.

You should check your Vspace gradebook for completeness & accuracy. It should contain no empty spaces; even if you missed a quiz there should be a zero there. (This is an artifact of the averaging process--an empty space results in a lower average than a zero!
