Work must be submitted in both print and electronic versions (.rtf format) to be eligible for judging. Response fields are in place for your convenience; please complete them before printing. This form may not be submitted online as a signature is required.
The Ruth & Ted Braun Awards for Writing Excellence have been established to create incentives for outstanding student writing and opportunities for student writers to be recognized and published.* The Braun Awards will recognize exemplary writing in the 9 Award Categories listed below. Note: When submitting your paper for consideration, please consider that the reviewers may not be experts in the field addressed by your paper. Thus it would be wise to revise/edit your paper prior to submission, to make it suitable for a general audience.
Awards in the amount of $250 may be made in each of the nine categories. Awards will be given at the Writing Awards Reception, April 7, 2010. Publication of the winning papers will take place in two forms:
- a print publication for local distribution
- an online publication which links from this website.
