SVSU's official colors, red and blue, provide a distinguished richness and vibrant energy to the image of SVSU. The SVSU logo should always be shown in these hues of red and/or blue (the logo may also appear in black or white). These colors should be applied with the proper mix of colors to produce accurate representations of each color.
Contact University Communications or your printer with questions about which mix of colors to use (for printed items use CMYK or PANTONE colors). For all Web or Powerpoint presentations, use the RGB or HEXADECIMAL color combinations which are used only for communications viewed on a computer screen.
| Due to the inaccuracy of color printers and computer monitors, these colors may not be displayed correctly. Please view a Pantone Color Matching System guide in the University Communications office to accurately check the true color of the SVSU blue and red. |

The SVSU secondary colors are also rich, deep colors in the same values as the SVSU red and blue colors. These colors were selected because they have an attractive visual appearance when displayed with the SVSU red and blue together. All colors may look different on individual screens because the calibration settings of most monitors vary. Colors may also slightly vary in brightness on paper because desktop printers ink cartridge levels all vary. Contact University Communications to view a Pantone Color Matching System guide to accurately check the true color of the secondary colors with the SVSU red and blue.
