Student Issues Advisory Committee
Mission Statement
The Student Technology Issues Action Team's primary mission is to investigate and respond to student technology issues on SVSU's campus
Goals and Objectives
- Develop long term plans for understanding technology issues facing SVSU students on campus
- Collect and forward information received from students, faculty and staff to University departments, so as to improve the campus technological environment for SVSU students
- Create and foster means for students to communicate technological needs to the university or comment on the campus technology environment
Strategies for Implementation
- Hold regularly scheduled meetings to discuss, debate and develop the above goals and objectives
- Investigate methods used by other colleges and universities to determine student technology issues
- Create a newsgroup for student feedback
- Periodically survey students using VSpace as a survey instrument
- Regularly report to the TLTR Steering Committee
