Mission Statement
The mission of the Distance/Online Learning Action Team is to explore and illuminate the relationship between teaching and learning when mediated by strategies for distance learning
Goals and Objectives
- Make informed recommendations regarding use of Distance/Online Learning in SVSU's programs
- Promote understanding of Distance/Online Learning
Strategies for Implementation
- Actively pursue current, accepted information from credible sources that assist us in understanding the standards and best practices of Distance/Online Learning
- Regularly report to appropriate bodies our findings and interpretation of research
- Make recommendations to integrate Distance/Online Learning into SVSU's Mission and Vision
- Showcase Distance/Online Learning at work at SVSU via symposia to serve as models for potential users
