You can apply your financial aid package to study abroad. In some cases, your aid might increase to support additional expenses. SVSU students can compete for SVSU Study Abroad Scholarships. Additional grant money may be available from International Programs as well as the Student Association.

Study Abroad experience helps résumé stand out since businesses & other employers are looking for international experience.
It counts toward your degree.
Our programs abroad are designed so that the credits you earn transfer back to SVSU. Complete General Education Requirements or take courses in you major.
Foreign language ability is NOT required.
Most of your study abroad programs have English language instruction & require no foreign language ability.
