www.1-800-Volunteer.org is quick and easy to find volunteer opportunities in your local community. Volunteers can maximize their experience by recieving email notifications of opportunities that match their interests, skills and availabilities. You can even set a personal volunteer goal (or organizational) and record your service hours online!

Here's how to sign-up as a volunteer:

1. Click www.1-800-Volunteer.org/1800Vol/UWSC/vcindex.do

2. Click "Creat Account" link

3. Click "Sign up as Volunteer Box"

4. Enter all required information

5. Now you have the option to either

    a. "Create Account" and be finished or

    b. Click "Continue to Skills and Availablity"

6. Click "Create Account" and you can begin searching volunteer opportunities

To find a volunteer opportunity:

Use the "search box" by entering keywords or by using the zip code for Saginaw, 48603.
