Current Volunteer Opportunities

The Bay Area Community Foundation offices are looking for college students to come in and volunteer at the College Access Network headquarters in Bay City. They would be assisting the staff in helping Bay Area students in getting into and finding scholarships for college. The contact person for this opportunity would be:

The Study Abroad Office is seeking volunteers to help with the functioning of the Study Abroad Fair on Tuesday, January 31st, 2012. Volunteers would be responsible for any of the following: helping set up the event and guide guests to the event location, assist students and faculty to flow successfully through the event, help with food service and welcome table, assisting with the breakdown and cleanup. Haven Elementary is looking for volunteers to help with their annual Winterfest on February 3rd. Students would be helping to run games, organize activities and prizes, and handle food. The event runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m., and volunteers would need to arrive by 5 p.m. Sign up in the Stud...ent Life Center by January 27th at 5 p.m. Food provided for all volunteers.

Mid-Michigan Children's Museum is hosting "Arts for the Hearts" on February 9th to benefit the museum's activities. Volunteers are requested from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help set up for the event and from 8:30-10 p.m. to help clean up after the event. Food will be provided for the volunteers. Sign up in the Student Life Center by February 1st at 5 p.m.
