The Saginaw Valley State University Program Board is a student-run organization that provides a large variety of different campus events.  From collaboration with Student Life for SVSU Homecoming events to hosting shows such as NWC, Finding Clyde concert, and the upcoming cultural event "Blacking Up: The Evolution of Hip-Hop", Program Board strives bring a dynamic collection of events to campus.

The Program Board of Saginaw Valley State University is looking for creative, hard working, motivated students who want to make an impact on SVSU’s community. Members have the opportunity to enhance leadership skills and help plan and conduct small to large events on and off campus.

Events that Program Board has done in the past include NWC, Heads Vs. Feds, Coffee House Series, Homecoming Variety Show and also bringing artists such as Ill Scarlett, Plain White Tee’s, Ludacris, Dashboard Confessional and many more.

  • Program Board's Poetry Slam: February 6th.  8pm start. Located in the Malcolm Field Theatre.
    Contest event! Pick up entry packet at the Student Center Front Desk. Guest performance by Asia Project.
  • Relay For Life: Friday April 13th. 6pm at the O'Neil Arena.
  • Streetfest: April 14. 12pm start time. Located in O'Neil Arena and Parking Lot E. Carnival Rides, Carnival Food, Caricature Artists, Wax hands, Balloon Artists and much more...

If interested in allocating money from Program Board, please contact our president John Reno to inform him about the event. Next, fill out an allocation form to present at the general assembly meeting with all the information about the requested funding for the event.
