What is Cards’ Party?
Cards’ Party is an SVSU tradition your organization can’t afford to miss!
- The one and only time during the year where we waive our non-soliciting policy, so you can reach out to our students.
- A student involvement fair where student organizations, non-profit organizations, and businesses gather to educate students about the many opportunities in our community.
- An opportunity for face-to-face interaction with SVSU students. You may display products, specials, literature, awards and highlights of your business. Give-a-ways, coupons and samples are strongly encouraged.

- You will have access to the campus community to spread the word about your organization.
- Don’t miss this chance to recruit energetic student volunteers to help meet your agency’s needs.
- SVSU students are interested in volunteer opportunities, contact the Student Life Office to find out how to have students volunteer.

Non-Profit Organizations booths are FREE to 501(c)3 non-profit organizations.
Businesses
Booth fee is $25.00 postmarked by August 3 (Make checks payable to SVSU)
Booth fee is $35.00 postmarked after August 3 (Make checks payable to SVSU)
Payment and registration will be accepted until September 4.
No money will be accepted during check-in!

All booths include a six foot table and two chairs.
You are responsible for providing any special items your booth may require.
- Items may include electrical adapters, extension cords, literature, give-a-ways, and individually wrapped food and beverages (must be noted in registration form), etc…
- No sales will be permitted, but we strongly suggest that you bring promotional items such as magnets, pens, t-shirts, etc.
Policies:
-Cards’ Party staff WILL NOT be available to assist with the clean up or loading of your materials at the event. Please be prepared to transport your own materials.
-Credit card solicitation is prohibited at Cards’ Party. Vendor may not provide credit card applications or allow signing up for credit cards at booths.
-You are responsible for providing any special items for your booth including plug adapters or extension cords, etc…
-Any items you wish to provide at Cards’ Party must be GIVEN AWAY at no cost to participants.
-SVSU reserves the right to deny access to Cards’ Party based on university contractual agreements.
-SVSU reserves the right to remove any group that has music or sound in competition with contracted entertainment or that is disturbing neighboring tables.
-SVSU reserves the right to remove any items, vendors, or groups that are in conflict with the educational mission of the University, the SVSU Student Handbook, and/or any applicable university policy.
-In the event you are unable to attend or cancel, no refunds will be given.
