Registered student organizations are eligible to receive up to $1,500 per academic year from SA. There are a few stipulations on the funding. RSOs may only request funding for up to 50% of their expenses. (For example, if the RSO spends $500, they can ask for $250.) Of the $1,500, only $750 may be used for conferences, banquets, or formals. Additional guidelines for the RSO allocation can be found attached to the RSO allocation request form.
Individual Enrichment and Leadership Development Allocation
Any student on campus is eligible to apply for the IELD allocation. This allocation is offered to students doing projects to supplement their degree programs, attending conferences, or building their leadership skills. This allocation of up to $300 may be allocated to individuals. Groups of three or more individuals may receive up to $750. Each semester (fall, winter, and spring/summer) study abroad scholarships of $500 are awarded. These scholarships may be given to any student planning on studying abroad in the coming semester. Applications must be filed out by the posted deadline and will be considered by the Allocations Committee and then approved by the House.
