Saginaw Valley State University encourages you to exercise your right to vote. If you are not 
already registered to vote, voter registration forms may be found at http://www.michigan.gov/documents/MIVoterRegistration_97046_7.pdf. Voter registration forms are also available in Student Association (118 Curtiss Hall), the Student Life Center (105 Doan) and the Office of the Registrar (151 Wickes Hall).
Don’t forget: In order to vote in the November 2, 2010 General Election, you need to be registered to vote by October 3, 2010. A person who registers to vote by mail must vote in person in the first election in which he or she participates. If you will be away from your polling station on the day of the election, you may request an absentee ballot.
