Animations
Everything just sitting on your slide without any pop? Add animations to your text, pictures, and graphs.
In the Animations tab are all your options.
The pictures are what will happen to selection. Pick the best looking one.
Add Animation:
*Entrance: What your selection will do while entering your screen.
*Emphasis: Add a little something to your selection in the middle of your presentation. Maybe make it flash when clicked.
*Exit : What your selection will do while exiting your screen.
Start:
On Click: Will start your animation on the click of a mouse.
With Previous: Will start your animation with the previous animation.
After Previous: Will start your animation after the previous animation has completed its animation.
Duration: Set a specific time for the selections to animate.
Delay: Delay the start of an animation.
A nice add on to have when using powerpoint is one that will let you embed a youtube video into your project.

For PowerPoint 2003 and earlier versions:
1. Extract the contents of the zip to a folder.
2. Launch PowerPoint.
3. Click on Tools | Add-ins to bring up the add-ins window.
4. Click on Add New... to bring up the 'Add New PowerPoint Add-in' dialog box.
5. Navigate to the folder where the contents of the zip file was extracted and select 'YouTubeVideo.ppa' and click on OK.
6. You might be prompted with the macro virus warning. Enable the macros. When the Add-in is properly loaded, it will display a tick against the add-in name.
7. That's it. You have successfully loaded the add-in.
For PowerPoint 2007/2010:
1. Extract the contents of the zip to a folder.
2. Launch PowerPoint.
3. Click on Office Button | PowerPoint Options.
4. In the PowerPoint Options dialog, select the Add-ins tab.
5. Select 'PowerPoint Add-ins' from the Manage drop down and click 'Go...'
6. On the Add-ins dialog, click 'Add New...' .
7. Navigate to the folder where the contents of the zip file was extracted and select 'YouTubeVideo2k7.ppa' and click on OK.
8. You might be prompted with the macro virus warning. Enable the macros. When the Add-in is properly loaded, it will display a tick against the add-in name.
9. That's it. You have successfully loaded the add-in.
