V Space is an internet site that lets SVSU Students see class information online
Some features of VSpace are:
Is a class not registering in your tab bar? Try this out
Go to "Account" on the left side of your page.

"Sites visible in Tabs" are the tabs that are visible on your main page. To not see tabs, just click the arrow between the two boxes. These are my three Tabs that visible.

What is the Student Technolgy Center tab?
It has our schedule, updates on software, and any closures of the lab.
Create a Profile
This is the profile that everyone will see when they look at your information. Do not put information that you do no want available to every student/ teacher.
By hovering over any of the editable regions, an "Edit" box will apear in the right corner. (Personal Information has this box as an example)

Create a Profile for your class
A lot of teaching classes want you to create a profile for your class discussions.
To do this select your class Tab.
Select "Discussion and Private Messages"
In the middle of your screen the image below should be available and select "My Profile"

Fill out any information that you want.
At the bottom is a "Load avatar from your computer" selection. This will be your picture in any post in the discussion thread.
Wiki
What is a Wiki?
A wiki is a place anyone can edit. Wikipedia.com anone can edit. The same thing goes for your class wiki.
How is this useful?
Anyone can edit or view it at any time. It is easier than sharing a file you have to dowload.
How to create a link in Wiki in VSpace
Go to www.vspace.svsu.edu and sign in.
On the top blue bar, click the name of your class or organization.
On the left side will be a tab that says Wiki.

Once you are there, click Edit (figure1) at the top of the toolbar.
After you click edit, there will be a white text box which where you edit your wiki at. Click anywhere in there and type the following in: (noted: italicize is the part you change).

Click save and then view your Wiki and see your new link work!!
