| France | Universite Catholique de Lille | 1988 (no signed agreement) | This is a long standing student exchange program. SVSU students typically go for short-term language programs in the summer. Hautes E tudes Industrielles, the technical college with the University, typically sends two senior students each academic year. |
| Poland | Adam Mickiewicz University | September 29, 1987 | The second oldest agreement between SVSU and a foreign institution. Students and occasional faculty have participated in the exchange, which is ongoing, primarily through the efforts of Anna Dadlez. |
| United Kingdom | University of Wolverhampton | 1994 (no signed agreement) | This was established as a site for study abroad but is now dormant. There was an initiative by Shikoku to create a “tri-lateral” agreement with SVSU, Shikoku and Wolverhampton. |
