2007-08: Played in 27 games and started in 24 in her freshman year averaging 31.8 minutes per game…shot 49.1 from the field and 40 percent on 8-20 shooting from beyond the ark…was 71.3 percent from the stripe…grabbed 184 rebounds (6.8 per game)…22 assists, six block shots and 42 steals…was ranked No.4 on the season with 11 points per game...was named GLIAC Player of the Week two times...Prior to SVSU: Played at Walled Lake Central for Coach Rob Schopf… name to the WLAA All-Conference Team for three consecutive season… won the WLAA scoring title her last two seasons… started on varsity team for four years, and was named team captain and MVP her final three seasons… averaged 16.7 points and 11.2 rebounds per game as a senior, and scored a total of 1,027 for her career… also holds school records in softball for career strike outs, innings pitched, ERA and shutouts...Personal: Majoring in Communications… daughter of Rick and Brenda Burkhardt.
