Celebrating a Century of Roethke
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Pulitzer-winning poet Theodore Roethke and the 11th time the Triennial Theodore Roethke Memorial Poetry Prize will be awarded.
Events celebrating the Centennial, including the Prize award ceremony, readings, tour of places associated with Roethke, and others begin November 8, 2008.
