President’s Weekly Update for Monday, Oct. 15

Higher Learning Commission Representatives Visit Campus

Two staff members of the Higher Learning Commission came to our campus last week. Tim Gallimore and Eric Martin, both vice presidents for accreditation relations, had an opportunity to meet with a number of key academic staff, and share lunch with SVSU’s full accreditation team. Gallimore and Martin commented publicly that we are ahead of many of our peers in terms of our preparation. My thanks to those colleagues who have worked and continue to work diligently on this cause, as much important work remains to be done.
