4.1-2
CANCELLATION OF OFF-CAMPUS CLASSES
DUE TO WEATHER OR OTHER ADVERSE CONDITIONS

Macomb and St. Clair

The Dean of the College of Education, with officials in Macomb County, St. Clair and on-site at Saginaw Valley State University, will determine whether classes are to be canceled at the off-campus sites.

The Office of the Dean of the College of Education is responsible to contact various off-campus officials to determine if weather conditions in the area (or at SVSU for traveling instructors) warrant cancellation of classes.

Responsible person(s) at the Macomb and St. Clair sites will contact the Office of the Dean of the College of Education if adverse weather conditions require closing of their facilities.

When the Office of the Dean of the College of Education is aware of circumstances preventing the holding of classes at the Macomb and/or St. Clair sites, students will be notified immediately by faculty and staff in the College of Education.

Cass City

When evening classes on the SVSU campus are cancelled, classes at Cass City are cancelled. (Call the SVSU Weather/Information Line - (989) 964-4477 - to find out if evening classes on the SVSU campus are cancelled.) In addition, if the Cass City School District is closed, evening classes at Cass City are cancelled.
