Returning Residents
Due to the unprecedented returning student demand for housing, we are continuing to assign returning students to bed space that were unable to secure a placement during the lottery selection process.
Returning Students: If you have submitted a contract and have not been placed in a room assignment, do not enter into an alternative housing contract because you could end up being responsible for both contracts.
It is not unusual for us to have a list of students without placements at this time of the year. Historically, we have experienced a large number of cancellations due to non-attendance during the months of April through August. Please remember that you are contracting for bed space beginning in late August, not April. Students who have not been placed will be contacted as soon as a room assignment becomes available. We expect to be able to place all of the contracts on hand as of April 15th.
Spring / Summer 2008
Students may sign up for Spring/Summer 2008 housing on campus. Students currently under a Housing Contract will only need to fill out a Contract Extension form to extend the terms of their contract and make payments by the first of each month starting with May. Students not currently under contract would need to submit a $200 prepayment in order to secure housing along with turning in an application and a contract. All forms are available at the Housing Office.
Prospective Students
Room Reservations Fall 2008/Winter 2009: Admitted students should be receiving housing application materials in the mail now. Housing applications are mailed out in groups periodically as students are admitted.
